Quaker Service

From 2012-2013, I was part of the founding cohort of volunteers for a faith-based voluntary service program called Quaker Voluntary Service. QVS pairs young adults from roughly the ages of 18-35 with urban non-profit organizations working in major U.S. cities. Volunteers learn about Quakerism, live together in intentional community and work with spiritual nurturers from local Quaker meetings.

More information can be found on the QVS Volunteers blog. Take a look!
